Trust you can put in writing.
Premium coco is only useful to a brand if it's consistent, safe for animals and documented. We back our products with recognised certifications, animal-safety processing and specifications on request.
Is this substrate safe for reptiles?
Yes. Our coir is washed to lower salts, screened to reduce dust, free of added chemicals, and graded for consistency — the things that matter for animal safety, not just plant performance.
Washed to reduce salts (EC) to levels appropriate for animal habitats.
Sieved and graded to keep airborne dust low.
No added pesticides, fertilisers or chemical binders.
Processed and handled to minimise pests and contaminants on import.
Graded particle structure so batches behave the same.
Supplied at a moisture level suited to its format and use.
Recognised standards behind the product
OMRI Listed
The coco is produced to an OMRI-listed standard — an organic-input review confirming the material is clean and free of synthetic additives. It is a cleanliness signal, not an animal-safety certificate; the real animal-safety work is the washing, dust screening and grading described above.
ISO 9001:2015
Produced under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system — consistent, repeatable processes rather than batch-to-batch surprises.
We reference these standards because the product is made to them. Full certificate documentation is shared directly with buyers once we are in contact — we don't publish certificate numbers on the website.
What specs do you provide?
Every product can be supplied with documented EC (salt), pH, particle structure, dust and moisture parameters, plus buffering and washing on request — so your technical team knows exactly what they're buying and you can make accurate claims to customers.
Built so every batch behaves the same
Washed & desalinated
Coco is washed to reduce salts (EC) and keep the material clean and predictable for animals.
Batch consistency
A managed process under ISO 9001:2015 keeps particle structure and quality stable across orders.
Import-ready documentation
Specifications and certificates prepared for European import and retail requirements.

We'd rather under-claim than over-promise.
A substrate supplier's reputation lives or dies on honesty. We give accurate information, point you to the right product for each habitat, and avoid claims we can't stand behind.
That includes telling you where coco isn't the right choice — such as standalone arid setups. See our by-animal guidance →
